Good fit for the offensive line. I'm just not a huge fan of Welch's play. Grade: C
209 Buffalo Bills - QB Levi Brown - 6'3-1/8" 229 - Troy
They finally address their QB need here with a good one. Nice pick by the Bills. Grade: B
210 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - LB Cody Grimm - 5'10-7/8" 203 - Virginia Tech
A bit of a reach here but fits the Tampa 2 OLB spot very well. Grade: C
211 St. Louis Rams - DB Marquis Johnson - 5'11" 192 - Alabama
Alabama's 5th best defensive back goes here. Not worth the pick. Grade: F
212 Miami Dolphins - OLB Chris McCoy - 6'3-1/4" 251 - Middle Tennessee State
The Phins get another pick for their linebacking corps. Good move here with McCoy. Grade: A
213 Detroit Lions - DE Willie Young - 6'4-3/4" 251 - North Carolina State
They take a guy who fell here to improve their already improving defensive line. Grade: A
214 Minnesota Vikings - TE Mickey Shuler - 6'4-1/8" 251 - Penn State
The Vikings have a good pair of TE's already in Shiancoe and Kleinsasser, but Kleinsasser won't be around forever. Grade: B
215 Oakland Raiders - DB Jeremy Ware - 5'10" 188 - Michigan State
They didn't need another corner or to reach for an unknown here. Grade: F
216 Buffalo Bills - OT Kyle Calloway - 6'6-1/4" 323 - Iowa
They need someone to come right in and be a starter at the RT spot. Calloway is a beast. Grade: A+
217 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - OLB Dekoda Watson - 6'1-3/4" 240 - Florida State
The Buccaneers excellent draft continues with the absolute steal of Watson here. Grade: A+
218 Chicago Bears - OT J'Marcus Webb - 6'8" 328 - West Texas A&M
Project for the RT spot. Alwasy smart to take those in the 7th. Grade: A
219 Washington Redskins - WR Terrence Austin - 5'11" 172 - UCLA
They already have a bunch of solid WR's, and they reach out of the draft here. Grade: D
220 Philadelphia Eagles - LB Jamar Chaney - 6'0-3/4" 242 - Mississippi State
They trade and get a guy who can compete right away at all three spots. Grade: A+
221 New York Giants - P Matt Dodge - 6'1" 224 - East Carolina
They drafted a punter. Grade: F
222 Tennessee Titans - WR Marc Mariani - 6'0-7/8" 189 - Montana
They get a great pick here for a future slot man and a returner. Grade: A
223 Carolina Panthers - CB R.J. Stanford - 5'10-1/8" 183 - Utah
They didn't need a Corner at all and they reached for an unknown here. Grade: F
224 San Francisco 49ers - CB Phillip Adams - 5'11-3/4" 193 - South Carolina State
They needed some depth at Corner. Solid reach though. Grade: C
225 Denver Broncos - CB Syd'Quan Thompson - 5'9" 186 - California
The Broncos continue to strengthen that secondary with this pick. Grade: A
226 St. Louis Rams - DE George Selvie - 6'4-3/8" 252 - South Florida
It's always smart to improve your pass rush. Selvie is just too good. Grade: A+
227 Houston Texans - WR Dorin Dickerson - 6'1-3/8" 226 - Pittsburgh
Always nice to add an extra weapon to the offense. Dickerson is a steal here. Grade: A+
228 Cincinnati Bengals - OL Reggie Stephens - 6'2-5/8" 322 - Iowa State
Good value and smart move here to get some depth on the offensive line. Grade: B
229 Washington Redskins - C Erik Cook - 6'5-1/2" 318 - New Mexico
The Redskins get a big powerful center who fits the ZBS here. Grade: A+
230 Green Bay Packers - DE C.J. Wilson - 6'2-7/8" 290 - East Carolina
The Packers get a solid steal here in Wilson. He has starting potential. Grade: A
231 Washington Redskins - OT Selvish Capers - 6'4-1/8" 308 - West Virginia
The Redskins get another starting caliber player for their offensive line here. Capers is a huge steal. Grade: A+
232 Denver Broncos - OLB Jammie Kirlew - 6'1-1/4" 260 - Indiana
The Broncos got a nice steal here in Kirlew. He can play WOLB or SOLB in their scheme. Grade: A
233 Arizona Cardinals - TE Jim Dray - 6'4-3/4" 246 - Stanford
Always smart to bring in a guy who can catch the ball when you have a young QB pair. Grade: A
234 Dallas Cowboys - DE Sean Lissemore - 6'3-1/2" 286 - William and Mary
They have a bunch of good DE's already and this was a reach. Grade: F
235 San Diego Chargers - TE Dedrick Epps - 6'3-1/8" 250 - Miami
I love the idea of drafting a solid TE replacement for Gates. Grade: A
236 Seattle Seahawks - DE Dexter Davis - 6'1-1/2" 244 - Arizona State
Always smart to upgrade your pass rush with pure pass rushers. Grade: A
237 Minnesota Vikings - LB Ryan D'Imperio - 6'1-3/8" 241 - Rutgers
They love their linebackers in Minnesota. Here is another one who can add depth. Grade: B
238 Indianapolis Colts - DT Ricardo Mathews - 6'2" 290 - Cincinnati
The Colts get a guy here who can step in as an instant starter in their 1-tech role. Grade: A
239 New Orleans Saints - QB Sean Canfield - 6'3-3/4" 223 - Oregon State
This move makes too much sense not to like. Canfield fits the backup QB for the Saints well. Grade: A
240 Indianapolis Colts - LB Kavell Conner - 6'0-1/2" 242 - Clemson
The Colts get a guy here who is excellent value and can eventually start at their WLB spot. Grade: A
241 Tennessee Titans - DT David Howard - 6'3" 270 - Brown
The Titans love their undersized DT's. Howard is good value here. Grade: B
242 Pittsburgh Steelers - DE Doug Worthington - 6'5-1/8" 292 - Ohio State
Getting depth at the DE spot is never a bad idea. Worthington fits well in the 5-tech. Grade: A
243 Philadelphia Eagles - DT Jeff Owens - 6'1" 304 - Georgia
Always smart to upgrade depth along the lines. Owens adds more depth to an already strong DT corps. Grade: A
244 Philadelphia Eagles - S Kurt Coleman - 5'10" 192 - Ohio State
Coleman presents good depth at both the FS and SS spots in the Eagles defense. Grade: A
245 Seattle Seahawks - WR Jameson Konz - 6'3" 227 - Kent State
The Chris Jericho look-alike will be a solid possession WR for the Seahawks. Grade: B
246 Indianapolis Colts - DB Ray Fisher - 5'9" 185 - Indiana
It's always good to get dpeth at these picks. Just seems like a reach here. Grade: B
247 New England Patriots - DE Brandon Deaderick - 6'3-7/8" 314 - Alabama
It's always smart to increase lineman depth. Deaderick is a big player and great fit for the 5-tech. Grade: A
248 New England Patriots - DL Kade Weston - 6'4-3/4" 325 - Georgia
The Bulldog can fit at either NT or DE for the Patriots. Grade: A
249 Carolina Panthers - DB Robert McClain - 5'9" 198 - Connecticut
Kind of a reach here on a player that will be their 3rd corner selected. Grade:
250 New England Patriots - QB Zac Robinson - 6'2-1/2" 214 - Oklahoma State
Getting a backup for Brady was essential to this draft. Grade: A
251 Oakland Raiders - DB Stevie Brown - 5'11-1/4" 212 - Michigan
A versatile player who can play both the FS and SS spots is more than worth this pick. Grade: A
252 Miami Dolphins - LB Austin Spitler - 6'2-1/8" 243 - Ohio State
Linebacker depth is always good to have with the 3-4 defense. Grade: A
253 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - DE Erik Lorig - 6'3-1/2" 281 - Stanford
They get someone who can lock down the run and rush the passer from their LDE spot here. Grade: A
254 St. Louis Rams - LB Josh Hull - 6'2-3/4" 237 - Penn State
They get some much needed linebacker depth here. Grade: A
