Draft Grade = A

6 Seattle Seahawks - OT Russell Okung - 6'5-1/4" 307 - Oklahoma State

Great pick for the Seahawks taking the guy who shouldn't have fell and is a great fit for the ZBS in Okung. Grade: A+

14 Seattle Seahawks - S Earl Thomas - 5'10-1/4" 208 - Texas

The Seahawks have a huge need for a true FS. Thomas has the range and could truly help out the Seahawks in the Cover 2 they will now run. Grade: A+

60 Seattle Seahawks - WR Golden Tate - 5'10-1/2" 199 - Notre Dame

A huge upgrade to the Seahawks WR corps. I love the idea of taking the BPA here in Tate. Grade: A+

111 Seattle Seahawks - CB Walter Thurmond - 5'10-3/4" 189 - Oregon

They needed a CB and this is just a good value pick. Grade: B

127 Seattle Seahawks - DE E.J. Wilson - 6'2-1/2" 286 - North Carolina

A bit of a reach here, but Wilson is a good fit for the Seahawks need. Grade: C

133 Seattle Seahawks - S Kam Chancellor - 6'3-1/4" 231 - Virginia Tech

They wanted to get both S spots. They take a poor-man's Taylor Mays here and Chancellor will be a long term solution at SS. Grade: A

185 Seattle Seahawks - TE Anthony McCoy - 6'4-1/2" 259 - Southern California

Pete Carroll takes his TE here and never looks back. This was a brilliant pick and a steal. Grade: A+

236 Seattle Seahawks - DE Dexter Davis - 6'1-1/2" 244 - Arizona State

Always smart to upgrade your pass rush with pure pass rushers. Grade: A

245 Seattle Seahawks - WR Jameson Konz - 6'3" 227 - Kent State

The Chris Jericho look-alike will be a solid possession WR for the Seahawks. Grade: B

Overall Grade based on talent acquired and team needs met: A

Seattle had a lot of needs including their starting LT and a few other spots. They had an excellent draft and look like they are heading in the right direction. The Seahawks will have a better life after Jim Mora and Tim Ruskell. They will love having Pete Carroll and the ZBS should be amazing in Seattle with the talent they have.
