Draft Grade = B+

5 Kansas City Chiefs - S Eric Berry - 5'11-5/8" 211 - Tennessee
The best player in the draft goes 5th. love the value of this pick. Grade: A

36 Kansas City Chiefs - WR/RS Dexter McCluster - 5'8-3/4" 172 - Ole Miss
They pick up a true athlete here. Seeing him listed as a WR makes much more sense.. Grade: A

50 Kansas City Chiefs - CB Javier Arenas - 5'8-5/8" 197 - Alabama
Love this pick for the Chiefs and even mocked it to them in the past. I think they shouldn't have passed on Campbell though. Grade: B+

68 Kansas City Chiefs - OG Jon Asomoah - 6'4" 205 - Illinois
The Chiefs take a guy here who can protect the QB and get to the 2nd level. Asomoah will help Albert look better than he is. Grade: A+

93 Kansas City Chiefs - TE Tony Moeaki - 6'3" 252 - Iowa
A bit of a reach but fills a need and is the next Tony Gonzalez style TE to go to Kansas City. Grade: B

136 Kansas City Chiefs - S Kendrick Lewis - 5'11-5/8" 198 - Ole Miss
They already took one safety and didn't need one. They reached for a guy they didn't need. Grade: F

142 Kansas City Chiefs - OLB Cameron Sheffield - 6'2-3/8" 257 - Troy
They need someone to give their defense a pass rush. This is a great pick for the Chiefs. Grade: A
Overall Grade based on talent acquired and team needs met: B
They had a very solid offseason. They are working on a process though and are only in the 2nd year of Pioli's process of building a top tier team. They have a very solid draft to rely on from the past 2 years and have made some solid signings. I expect them to get 5-6 wins this year.
