Hi all I am back for ScarDraft.com and it’s another day of my draft grades for this past year’s rookies.

Note: I will not be curving a grade because they were a later round pick or undrafted, I welcome/encourage discussion via email at ScottDelleFave@Scardraft.com

Once again, grades will range through A-F and there will be the occasional I for incomplete due to an injury before the pre-season.

The format for the first line is the round, the pick in the round they were selected, in the parentheses is the pick overall they were selected, their name, position, their height and weight and the college they attended.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Round 1, Pick 3 (3) Gerald McCoy DT 6'4" 295 Oklahoma

Had a total of28 tackles, forced two fumbles, and had three sacks in thirteen games, before he went on season ending Injured Reserve with a torn bicep muscle. Grade B-

Round 2, Pick 3 (35) Brian Price DT 6'1" 303 UCLA

Brian played in only five games and amassed three tackles before the crack in his pelvis became too much to bare and the Buccaneers decided to IR him and requiring him to have surgery where they are confident he’ll be back for 2011. Grade F

Round 2, Pick 7 (39) (From Raiders) Arrelious Benn WR 6'1" 219 Illinois

Arrelious struggled somewhat out of the gates, unlike Mike Williams. Over the season he had 25 catches and 395 yards and two touchdowns and also had six carries for 35 yards in fifteen games, his season ended when he tore his ACL in his knee. Grade C+

Round 3, Pick 3 (67) Myron Lewis CB 6'2" 203 Vanderbilt

Myron played a lot of spot duty due to being the #4 cornerback on the depth chart with nine tackles in ten games, needs to work harder to be on the team in 2011. Grade F

Round 4, Pick 3 (101) Mike Williams WR 6'1" 221 Syracuse

From college drop out to #1 Wide Receiver in Tampa Bay, had 65 catches for 964 yards and eleven touchdowns, by far one of the best rookie seasons. Grade A

Round 6, Pick 3 (172) Brent Bowden P 6'2" 202 Virginia Tech

Bowden was waived before the season started and no team picked him up. Grade F

Round 7, Pick 3 (210) Cody Grimm LB 6'1" 203 Virginia Tech

Played in 11 games including starting the first four games for the suspended Tanard Jackson, and got his first interception and scored on a touchdown the play. Additionally, he had 53 tackles for the year, however his season was cut short when he fractured his left fibula and was placed on season ending Injured Reserve. Grade B-

Round 7, Pick 10 (217) (From Jaguars) Dekoda Watson LB 6'1" 240 Florida State

Played in fifteen games this year, with amassing a total of 30 tackles, however I don’t see him more than a Special Teams guy or a fill in guy at Linebacker. Grade C-

Round 7, Pick 46 (253) (Compensatory selection) Erik Lorig DE 6'3" 281 Stanford

Erik became a converted Tight End, and had to play FB for week nine due to Earnest Graham had an issue with his hamstring, he caught one pass for ten yards in week seventeen and that was it. Grade F

Notable Undrafted Player

LeGarrette Blount RB 6’ 240 Oregon

LeGarrette is considered the steal at HB of this year’s draft. Originally went undrafted to Tennessee, however Tampa Bay claimed him off of waivers on September 6th, and never looked back, on 201 carries, he had 1007 yards and also he had five receptions for fourteen yards. Grade A
