Hi all I am back for ScarDraft.com and it’s another day of my draft grades for this past year’s rookies.

Note: I will not be curving a grade because they were a later round pick or undrafted, I welcome/encourage discussion via email at ScottDelleFave@Scardraft.com

Once again, grades will range through A-F and there will be the occasional I for incomplete due to an injury before the pre-season.

The format for the first line is the round, the pick in the round they were selected, in the parentheses is the pick overall they were selected, their name, position, their height and weight and the college they attended.

New Orleans Saints

Round 1, Pick 32 (32) Patrick Robinson CB 5'11" 190 Florida State

Played in eleven games, had a total of 28 tackles, with no interceptions and sacks all year, and was considered their nickel back behind Tracy Porter and Jabari Greer, his future isn’t transparent, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he does well for a career. Grade C+

Round 2, Pick 32 (64) Charles Brown OT 6'5" 303 Southern Cal

Was a healthy scratch for a lot of the year, played in just three games which baffled me since you can have never have enough good lineman,  not to mention when you take a person at such a high pick. They aren’t giving up hope on him especially if Jermon Bushrod walks, Brown will be thrust into the limelight. Grade F

Round 3, Pick 31 (95) Jimmy Graham TE 6'6" 260 Miami

Jimmy is a mountain of a man and had an excellent rookie campaign, in fifteen games he had 31 catches for 356 yards and five TDs and is strongly considered as the starter for next season. Grade B+

Round 4, Pick 25 (123) (From Ravens through Cardinals) Al Woods DT

Bounced around from teams practice squads besides the Saints  including Pittsburgh and eventually found a home in Tampa bay, management was heavily criticized for drafting this underachiever so early.. In nine games he amassed seventeen tackles and a half of a sack for the Bucs. Grade F

Round 5, Pick 27 (158) (From Cowboys through Patriots, Broncos, Raiders, and Jaguars) Matt Tennant C 6'5" 300 Boston College

Played in all sixteen games this year but more than likely will not crack the starting lineup for at least another season between Guards Jahri Evans and Carl Nicks, also Center Jonathan Goodwin playing at high levels. Grade D

Round 7, Pick 32 (239) Sean Canfield QB 6'4" 223 Oregon State

Didn’t get any playing time this year, then again you also expect that out of a seventh round pick that happens to be a quarterback who plays behind an Elite QB. Grade F
