2010 Draft Grades - Arizona Cardinals
By Scott DelleFave
Talk about this on our forums!
Hi all! This is my first in hopefully many articles for ScarDraft.com and I decided to grade every single rookie that was drafted by a team, and if a team had any noteworthy undrafted FA’s, I’ll include them too.
Note: I will not be curving a grade because they were a later round pick or went undrafted; I welcome/encourage discussion via email at ScottDelleFave@Scardraft.com
Grades will range through A-F and there will be the occasional I for incomplete due to an injury before the pre-season.
Arizona Cardinals

Round 1, Pick 26 (26) Dan Williams DT 6'2" 327 Tennessee
Had issues with his weight and nagging injuries for a lot of the season, was deactivated for a game, but still played in the other fifteen games, had a total of 38 total tackles for the year. Grade C+

Round 2, Pick 15 (47) (From Titans through Patriots) Daryl Washington ILB 6'2" 230 TCU
Had a solid rookie campaign with 78 total tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and an interception as a replacement for Karlos Dansby who went to Miami and could be a solid interior linebacker for years to come especially with his speed. Grade A-

Round 3, Pick 24 (88) (From Ravens) Andre Roberts WR 5'11" 195 Citadel
In fifteen games, he had a rather disappointing rookie campaign with 307 yards on 24 receptions, toted as one of the replacements for Anquan Boldin, the jury is out on this guy, but he’ll need to step up his game in his sophomore year. Grade C-

Round 4, Pick 32 (130) (From Saints) O'Brien Schofield DE 6'2" 221 Wisconsin
Played in only ten games this year as an injury replacement for Joey Porter, had 12 total tackles, 2 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, will have to get on the field more to stay on the team. Grade C

Round 5, Pick 24 (155) (From Eagles through Jets and Steelers) John Skelton QB 6'5" 243 Fordham
Played in relief of horrid QB Derek Anderson, for three and a half games after getting the hook in the season finale vs. San Francisco, might still have a decent career as a backup signal caller somewhere despite his massive frame. Grade C

Round 6, Pick 32 (201) (From Saints) Jorrick Calvin DB 5'11" 184 Troy
He is now part of the Philadelphia Eagles, and had back surgery in late December, similar to the one Shawn Andrews had, which isn’t promising. Grade F

Round 7, Pick 26 (233) Jim Dray TE 6'5" 246 Stanford
Had only three catches for 47 yards all year long, but looks like could be a decent special teamer in time. Grade C+
